     How Strong was the Effect of the Gettysburg Address?               The Civil War was hold out as the war that caused many problems to the United States of America. The North and coalition were divided in two. Slavery, owning land, and money caused them to separate. The North host was the federation (led by General Ulysses S. Grant) and the south was the Confederates (General Robert E. Lee). The most famous meshwork (the skirmish of Gettysburg) had the most effect because of the one few-minute speech: the Gettysburg Address.  The involvement of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania had a big effect on the armies. In that one battle, the North lost 23,000 men and the sustain lost 28,000 men. The North won and General Lee took his military back to Virginia. He had lost about a ternary of his army in one day.                   Four months later, on November 19th, 1863,  president Abraham Lincoln visited the site of the Battle of Gettysburg. He knew he had to suppose something about it.
