How Strong was the Effect of the Gettysburg Address?               The Civil War was realise as the contend that caused many problems to the United States of America. The North and bond were divided in two. Slavery, owning land, and money caused them to separate. The North host was the union (led by General Ulysses S. Grant) and the south was the Confederates (General Robert E. Lee). The most famous interlacing (the skirmish of Gettysburg) had the most effect because of the one few-minute speech: the Gettysburg Address.  The dispute of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania had a big effect on the armies. In that one battle, the North lost 23,000 men and the reciprocal ohm lost 28,000 men. The North won and General Lee took his troops back to Virginia. He had lost about a tierce of his army in one day.                   Four months later, on November 19th, 1863, hot seat Abraham Lincoln visit ed the site of the Battle of Gettysburg. He knew he had to enunciate something about it.
